This is my home church. I grew up here. It is a huge blessing to be back on staff here.
After graduating from college, I served at a church in Southeast Oklahoma. I then helped to plant a church in a small town south of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Shortly thereafter I came on staff at GABC serving as the College/Young Single’s Pastor, and I helped to start a new service. My family and I then left to serve as missionaries for three years, and we have since returned to Grand.
We are a Southern Baptist Church. This means that we are in a network of over 40,000 churches that have come together to simply accomplish the Great Commission feeling that we can do more together than we each can do alone. I believe our greatest achievement is the International Mission Board which is the largest of its kind in the history of the world. We have about 4,000 missionaries serving all over the world.
